dr. Nyoman Artha Megayasa, Sp.N., S.H., FNR
Born and raised in Bali, Indonesia.
Biography
Dr. Nyoman Artha Megayasa is a neurologist specializing in neurorestoration — the science of helping the brain and nervous system recover function after injury, disease, or age-related decline. His clinical focus spans stroke recovery, Parkinson's disease, balance disorders, and the structural and functional aging of the brain.
Born and raised in Bali, he completed his medical degree at Universitas Brawijaya in Malang in 2014 and his neurology specialty (Sp.N) at the same university in partnership with RSUD Dr. Saiful Anwar in 2020. He completed a fellowship in Neurorestoration in 2024 and earned a Law degree (S.H.) the same year — an unusual combination that anchors his work in both clinical neuroscience and patient-rights advocacy.
He sees patients at Bali International Hospital and at his private practice in Renon, Denpasar. Beyond direct clinical care, he co-founded AgeAtlas to close the gap he kept seeing: patients with 'normal' lab results who still did not feel normal — numbers without meaning, results without context.
He is an active member of PERDOSNI and its Neurorestoration & Neuroengineering Division, and the International Parkinson and Movement Disorder Society (MDS). He writes and speaks publicly about functional medicine, longevity, and the ethical dimensions of preventive care.
